NABBA is the first and the original competitive bodybuilding association, formed in 1950

2025 SEASON A

Season A features the NABBA State Championship Qualifiers (QLD, NSW) and the NABBA Australia Southern Hemisphere Championship, culminating in the prestigious NABBA World Championship.

● Date: Sunday, 8th June 2025
● Venue: ILUMINA 1 Elizabeth St Sydney NSW Australia

At the pinnacle of the bodybuilding world, the NABBA World Championship unites elite athletes to compete for one the sport’s most coveted titles.

Eligibility Guidelines

Membership Requirement:

All athletes must hold NABBA International. membership to compete in Season B 2025.

* QLD & NSW Athletes: Must compete in their State Championship to qualify for the Southern Hemisphere Championship.

* Athletes from other states: Have the choice to compete in QLD or NSW to qualify, or can go directly to the Southern Hemisphere Championship with approval from the National Body.

Any athlete participating in a State Qualifier will automatically qualify for the Southern Hemisphere Championship in 2024, regardless of their placing.

* Australian Athletes: Those who compete in the 2025 Southern Hemisphere Championship will secure a spot in the NABBA World Championship in Sydney.

* No Australian entries will be accepted for the NABBA World Championship unless the athlete has taken part in the required 2025 qualifying events.

International athletes must adhere to the qualification process specific to their country to be eligible for the 2025 NABBA World Championship.

2025 SEASON B

Season B features the NABBA State Championship Qualifiers (VIC, QLD, NSW) and the NABBA Australia National
Championship, culminating in the prestigious NABBA Universe Championship.
● Date: Sunday, 19th October 2025
● Venue: Federation Brewery Complex, Lancaster Road, Dunston, Gateshead, Newcastle, UK

sport’s most coveted title.

Eligibility Guidelines

1. Membership Requirement:

All athletes must hold NABBA International membership to compete in Season B 2025.

2. State-Level Qualification:

○ Athletes from QLD, NSW, and VIC must compete at their respective state championships to qualify
for the Australian National Championship.
○ Athletes from other states may:
■ Compete in the QLD, NSW, or VIC state championships, or
■ Request permission from the National Body to proceed directly to the Australian National
Championship.

3. National Championship Qualification:

○ Participation in any State Qualifier automatically qualifies athletes for the Australian National
Championship, regardless of their placing.

4. NABBA Universe Championship:

○ Applications must be submitted and approved by the National Body.
○ Only athletes who have competed in a 2025 qualifying event are eligible to apply.
Season B offers a pathway for top-tier athletes to advance to the ultimate stage of bodybuilding—the NABBA
Universe Championship.

All athletes must be a registered NABBA INTERNATIONAL MEMBER. Athletes are required to make payment at athlete check-ins if your membership is not current.
Membership cost is $130 per Calendar year from date of purchase. This is separate from your registration fees.
